2025 MARCA Training Opportunities

In 2025, MARCA is offering members more hands-on training events at a substantially reduced cost! **All of the training courses have very limited enrollment and are offered on a first come, first-served basis – so register early!

2025 CPR & FIRST AID TRAINING

When: 1-24-25, 7:30am Breakfast, 8am Training Start
Class Length: 5-6 hours (Approximate)
Where: NB HANDY, 7495 Race Road, Hanover, MD
Trainer: Steve Sohasky – Creative Risk Management Solutions
Cost: $10 (includes continental breakfast)
Class Limit: 10 PPL
Certificate: 2 year electronic certificate for CPR/ First Aid and 1 year electronic certificate for bloodborne pathogen training. 

2025 FORKLIFT & MEWP TRAINING

When: 2-14-25, 7:30am Breakfast, 8am Training Start
Class Length: 5 hours (Approximate)
Where: NB HANDY, 7495 Race Road, Hanover, MD
Trainer: Steve Sohasky – Creative Risk Management Solutions
Cost: $10 (includes continental breakfast)
Class Limit: 10 PPL
Certificate: 3 year electronic certificate from date of training. 
*Individual PPE Required:  Work boots, Long Pants, Shirt, Safety Glasses, Hard Hat and Reflective Vest, Harness and Lanyard.

2025 OSHA 10 & HAZCOM TRAINING

When: 2-28-25 & 3-1-25, 7:30am Breakfast, 8am Training Start
Class Length: Day 1 = 8hrs, Day 2 = 4hrs (approximate)
Where: NB HANDY, 7495 Race Road, Hanover, MD

Cost: $10 (includes continental breakfast & boxed lunch)
Class Limit: 20 PPL
Certificate: OSHA 10 hour cards as well as 1 year electronic certificate for Fall Protection and Hazard Communication

2025 SCAFFOLD HAZARD AWARENESS TRAINING

When: 3-21-25, 7:30am Breakfast, 8am Training Start
Class Length: 4-5 hours (approximate)

Cost: $10 (includes continental breakfast)
Class Limit: 15 PPL
Certificate: 3 year electronic certificate from date of training.
